Hair Gallery Services
A guide to the colour services we offer — so you arrive at your consultation knowing what's possible and with a clear idea of the direction you'd like to go.
All-over colour means applying Wella permanent colour from root to tip for a full, even result. It's the right choice if you want complete grey coverage, a solid colour change, or simply a rich, consistent tone throughout your hair. Permanent colour gives lasting results and the most complete coverage — your stylist will advise on the right shade and depth at consultation.
Classic foils use colour applied root to tip through the hair, section by section. Unlike balayage — which is freehand and grows in gradually from a natural root — foils give a more defined, consistent result that starts right at the root. They can use a single shade or a carefully chosen mix of colours to create exactly the effect you're after.
The versatility of foil work is one of the things we love most about it. The same technique can deliver very different results depending on the shades chosen, the number of foils and where they're placed:
Fine foils in tones close to your natural colour create a gentle brightening effect — perfect for softening grey or adding a little warmth and dimension without a dramatic change.
A mix of warmer and lighter tones gives a fresh, lived-in look — brighter than your natural colour but still believable, with movement and depth throughout.
More foils, higher contrast shades or ribbons of colour through the hair create real impact — whether that's a classic high-contrast look, pops of colour or something more fashion-forward.
Your stylist will talk through which approach suits your hair, your lifestyle and your goals at consultation.
All of our balayage and blonde services are priced as complete packages. The price you see is the price you pay — no surprises at the end of your appointment.
We're aware that some salons advertise a base price for a bleaching service and then add the toner and bond builder on separately at the end, leaving clients paying significantly more than they expected. We don't think that's fair. Bleaching almost always requires a toner to complete the look, and we believe that adding a bond builder to our bleach is simply the right thing to do for the health of your hair — so both are included as standard in every package price.
We use both Olaplex and Wella bond builders depending on the service. Some of Wella's colour and bleach products are clever enough to have bond-building technology built directly into the formula — which means your hair is being protected throughout the process without needing a separate product.
Every balayage and blonde package includes bond builder in the bleach to protect the integrity of your hair, and a toner to perfect the finished result. These aren't extras — they're part of the service.
We believe you should know exactly what you're paying before you sit in the chair. That's how we've always worked, and it's not something we'll ever change.
Balayage is a freehand colouring technique where bleach is painted directly onto the hair — no foils. The root stays natural and darker, with lightness that builds gradually from around two to three inches down, getting brighter towards the ends. The result is soft, natural-looking and grows out beautifully, without a hard regrowth line.
If you want colour that looks effortless — like your hair has been lightened by the sun rather than in a salon — balayage is the one.
Foil highlights use bleach applied through sections of hair from root to tip, wrapped in foils to process. Because the lightening starts at the root, the result is brighter and more consistent than balayage — you get a visible lift throughout the hair rather than a graduated effect. Highlights can be as fine and subtle or as chunky and striking as you like, and work beautifully alongside a base colour or on their own.
This is the technique to choose if you want real brightness from the root, or a more noticeable, dramatic result.
Global bleach means applying bleach all over the hair from root to tip — it's the most thorough lightening service we offer and gives the most complete, even lift. It's typically chosen when someone wants to go very blonde all over, or needs an even base before a fashion colour is applied. Because it's an intensive service, the condition of your hair beforehand matters a great deal, and your stylist will assess this carefully at consultation.
A toner is used to refine and perfect the tone of your colour — it doesn't dramatically change your shade, but it can make a significant difference to the finished result. Unwanted warmth or brassiness can be neutralised, cooler or ashier tones can be warmed up, and faded colour can be refreshed and revived.
Toning is included in all of our balayage and blonde packages, but it's also available as a standalone service — useful for refreshing your colour between appointments or adjusting the tone without a full colour service.
If you're after something more adventurous — pinks, purples, blues or other vivid shades — we can help. Creative colour pricing is on request, as it varies depending on your hair, its starting point and the result you're after. Book a consultation and we'll talk through what's possible.
If your colour looks dull, flat or brassy despite regular salon visits, the cause is often mineral buildup from hard water rather than anything wrong with the colour itself. Colour Reset is a three-step treatment that deep cleanses the hair, restores condition and finishes with a professional toner — giving your colour a completely fresh start in a single 90-minute appointment.
Introductory price £100 · must be booked with a blowdry or cut & blowdry · a consultation and skin test are required before your first appointment.
Before any colour appointment, we'll invite you in for a consultation with your stylist. This gives us the chance to assess your hair, understand your goals, look at your inspiration and make sure we recommend exactly the right service for you.
As part of your consultation we carry out a skin test and a strand test — so we can be completely confident in the result before we begin. The consultation fee is £10, which covers the cost of the products used and your stylist's time.
