At Hair Gallery we believe the best way to learn hairdressing is to do it — in a real, busy salon, alongside experienced stylists, with real clients in the chair. Our Academy is how we invest in the next generation.
Our apprentices attend Partners4Training in Uckfield one day a week, and spend the rest of their time here in the salon, developing their skills under the close guidance of our senior team. Every Academy appointment is supervised and supported throughout.
Our apprentices offer a limited number of model appointments at half price. It's a brilliant way to experience Hair Gallery at reduced rates while directly supporting a stylist at the very start of their career.
To book a model appointment, please call the salon directly — online booking is not available for Academy appointments. We'll arrange a quick initial visit so we can assess your hair and match you with the right apprentice.

Sharing 40 years of hairdressing knowledge
Catherine Brind has spent four decades in hairdressing — as a salon owner, a Wella Master Colourist, an NVQ educator and the author of two hairdressing textbooks. Catherine Brind Education is the home of her teaching work outside the salon.
